Adopting Your New Family Member

  • Before a deposit is accepted there is a screening process/application to fill out.

  • Please be very thorough and truthful about the pets in your home (species, breed, age, gender) as the Alaskan Malamute can be same-sex aggressive and have a prey drive.

  • My puppies are placed with a spay/neuter contract and are not allowed to be bred. AKC papers are sent to you AFTER I have received proof of spay/neuter.

  • Please thoroughly research this breed, join groups online, ask questions, etc. before making the decision to get an Alaskan Malamute.

  • Please keep an open mind about looks vs personality, sometimes the pup whose markings/color you like the best isn't the right match for your lifestyle/family.

  • I require a deposit to hold your place on my waitlist.

  • Deposits are $400 and go towards the total price. They are non-refundable, except under special circumstances.

  • Choosing your pup will not happen until 6 weeks.

  • All pups are $1700.

  • I provide a lifetime health guarantee.

  • In the event you cannot keep your puppy/dog, he/she is to come back to me.

  • Puppies come with age-appropriate de-worming and vaccines, health exam, first heartworm preventative, and puppy pack.

  • I am available 24/7/365 to help in any way needed and I never get tired of updates and photos - the more the better!!

Contracts

****Before deciding to get a pup, take a moment and really think about where you see yourself in say 5 years. Does that include working your life around a high maintenance dog? In the event of a job change, a sudden move, an unexpected pregnancy or other life change, is keeping your fur kids in your life something you will do with all your ability? If one of these situations causes you to give up your pet/s don’t get a dog. A 5 year old dog shouldn’t be required to change family’s because his/her owner finds it easier to give him up than find another way. You don’t give up your kids when the going gets tough; animals are kids/family members.*****

**I am very aware that life throws unexpected curveballs and sometimes there are situations completely out of your control that may force you to make the heart wrenching decision of giving up your fur kid.**
